Today i bought two new albums with the remaining money i had. I bought Sigor ros' new album which is called takk. Its quite good, but not all the songs are as good as i expected them to be from the reviews.
Also bought the Giant Drag album hearts and butterflies which is quite good. I like girls singing rock music. I want to go see them on friday but i cant. Mrag.

i think it was a good way to spend £18.

and now im poor; with only £35 in my bank and wallet combined.
Paid on friday though. Then ill have money again. :)

So in the last two weeks i have spent a hell of a lot of money, and probably earnt less. which is really bad. Ive done some proper revising, had some fuin with Germans, talked to john about a lot of things, been to his cousins' farm, and been to his for easter dinner.
Ive discovered more about me than i thought i could learn, and hopefully rested a lot so im ok for the next 5/6 weeks.

sigh. Im all angsty.

So i have a new LJ layout, which im ot too happy about but all knowledge of css has flown out of my head (or enough to customise this into a decent journal) so ill have to make do. But yeah new and pretty.

In other news...I passed my grade 7 flute exam with MERIT. wow. go me. I can technically be called a grade 8 flautist now. wooo. *does happy dance*
Now al i have to do is avoid faling the ridiculously hard music GCSE. I swear the GCSE is harder than grade 7. or grade 8 for that matter. its supposed to be grade 5. hmm..

Hi. im in Germany land. Im currently sat in a youth club using their computer. Its quite fun here, but it all seems to be one giant history/german lesson. Which is ok ish.

Yesterday we went to bergen belsen, the concentration camp, and i think i will wait until i get home to write about that because it deserves more than a few words. We are doing a hell of a lot of work, which is unusual for DAFBY, but its all ok. Every evening we seem to be drunking far too much alcohol and getting drunk. Last night i had to be carried onto the tram. :) Drunkeness is having its consequences, as i seem to have kissed 2 people in the space of 3 days. oh well.

tomorrow we are going t berlin, which should be fun, and then we are having a family day which i get to spend with tobias. which is indifferent, as he happens to be one of the abovementioned boys.

so yeah. im extremely tired but we have to do some more work and stuff, so i must be off. Hope everyone is having fun in the land of the english. :)

Reasons it sucks to live in a tourist city:

Evereything cost loads more than it would in a normal city.

They charge you 17p for a fudge bar when it cleary says 15p ON THE WRAPPER.

You are asked to take so many photos of foreign families that you think you should start charging people for your services /and/ get a degree in photography while you are at it.

At christmas, summer, easter, or any other holiday you cant move because there are too many people there.

The majority of these people are wearing matching brightly coloured backpacks, and speaking a language you dont understand.

You dont actually know the places that tourists want to go to. and your vague directions of "next to the crazy tree" dont help them.

Its not that i dont love the tourists, they are wonderful. Just...we should really re-build those walls that used to surround Bath, and have some of those no tourist days. :)

But them im a hypocrite, seeing as i go and be a tourist in other countries.

hehehe. i am feeling all girly and hyper. me and frankie went shoe shopping after my party today. It was fun, and i found two cool pairs of shoes.
There were these really amazing steel toe combat boots in mastershoe that were purple!!!! they cost £55, so i know what i will be buying next!
I also found these cute little pinky red shoes that i think everyone calls slippers. They cost £20, but made me look wierd. I looked in the mirror and my legs looked faaaaaar too skinny to be healthy. In fact, i looked too skinny to be healthy, but they went really well with the bug pants with no middley bit (a.k.a my short skirt). i dont know if skinny is really that good a look, so i think i will eat more from now on.
I <3 shopping! it makes me happy. I bought 3 books and 3 CDs. I tried to buy a DVD, but the silly man wouldnt let me because he said i didnt look old enough to buy a 15. im 16!!!! i must be getting younger, because i have never been asked for ID in my life. grrrrr.
OH. MY. GOSH. i think i am turning into a girl!!! run away now while you still caaaaaan!!!!!!!!!

hehehe. shopping is fun. On monday i am going flute shopping to get a new case. unfortunately i cant have a new flute, so i will get a new case, and then save up to get mine re-padded, and serviced. Thats about £150. i should really start saving shouldnt i?

Wow. Trampolining makes me happy. ^^ its all the bouncy fun.
I did somersaults today, but Miss Hetenyi doesnt understand that i have a really big phobia of falling off and no one catching me. When i did trampolining when i was an ickle person, no one was round the edge, and we used to do somersaults all the time, but one time i hurt my neck, and now its scary. and also that time when i was in year 7 and the year 11 girl just pushed me off the box when i was doing handsprings (she was trying to "hlep me" and i havd to have stiches. Now im scared of all Gymnastics/bouncy sports. O_O. i know im weird.
anywaaaaaaaaay.um......dont know what else to say. I have far too much coursework for my own good, and i havent done any of it (!!!). pfffft.

dont know what else to write really. I am sooo bored. i think (with crossed fingers) that i may finish my music composition tonight. I just have to write 12 bars of piano accompaniment and make sure it all fints and then its done. Its 41 bars long, which is quite good for me.

I am very hyperly happy for no reason. I think its because i actually learnt how to play something new on my guitar, oh and i finished my physics coursework which i sneakily sneaked (snook? snuk??)home. te he. Mr Layton is stupid so I will make up an excuse when he finds out.

I have also done an extra bar (1 whole bar people!!!!!!!) of my flute composition. ooo and 3 lines of history. I am on a coursework role today.

la di da....Friday!!!! yesssssssss. dont know what else to say. Rang philippa last night. no idea whats happening now. but its a start. Megan has unblocked me and is talking to me....as as i wrote that she blocked me. Damn. I guess that was silly of me to write it out loud. oh well. never mind. Am reading a fantastic book. Its called Girl, Interrupted.Its an autobigoraphy of a girl who was sent to a mental hospital beacuse she was suffering form deppresion and a borderline personality disorder. Of course, it was in 1967 or something so it would never happen now, but some of the stuff she was talking about i could scarily relate to.
Its an oddly comforting book. It gives you a lot of hope, like you arent the only person feeling this way or thinking the thoughts you do.I really like it. Its got all the notes about her from the doctors in it, and even though i finished it in about 3 hours, its really really good. Its the sort of book that fills you with hope. and im thankful that someone else feels the way i do sometimes. Even though she was actually ill. (and dont all assume im going to say im depressed. I am not that shallow and self centred as to claim to be as bad as this girl in the book. I am a firm beleiver that people should not say they are depressed unless it is clinically proven ).

Go read it. there is also a film of it. watch it or read it. I cant recommend it enough.


In other news people are still not talking to me. If it still continues until next week, i may have to resort to desperate measures. I dont know what they are yet. but we will see....

This is the most optemistic post i have written for a while, I amy make it public for you all. :)

The problem is. I have got to the point where I know this isn't just a passing feeling because I can't remember the last time I felt truly happy and problem-free in the last year. I think its all coming to a head at the moment because I feel entirely lost....
